Outstanding workmanship
The team was great from start to finish. It was a fair price for a world class metal roof. It makes my house look outstanding. I also sleep better knowing that my home / family is protected better from wind, rain and fire now. The install team was great, showed up as scheduled worked hard all day in the heat. Cleaned up every day before leaving. The salesman was best in class with his details and no pressure approach. American Metal roofs is a great roofing company to work with.

Our forever roof
We put our roof on ourselves and are extremely happy with it. It has been round 15 years ago that we did it, and we don't regret it one bit. We are now in our mid 60's and will never have to replace it again!
DIY Metal Roof with Golden Hammer
I picked up my metal roof supplies from the Charlotte location. The Instructional video showed the installation pretty well but could be updated with more focus on the flying gables that are now typical. The installation went well and the the Golden Hammer helper came to help with the chimney flashing formation and install. I have decent constuction skills and installing the roof myself saved a lot on installation costs. I never need to be concerned that my shingles could eventually rust since they are aluminum. The Oxford metal shingles look great. I shouldn't have to re-roof my house again in my lifetime. My parents house has had the AMR oxford shingles on their house for 10 years now with no problems at all.
Old house finally has an up to code roof
I had a great experience despite the obstacles we had. My house was originally built in 1957. When we stripped down far enough I had 2x6s or 2x8s at an angle. No sheeting over the top. It also had the soffets blocked so air wouldn't glow properly. I also had a wonky bay wall that had leaking roof issues. The guys were very patient and thorough to get it all back to code. The insulation wrap and ice sheild should keep us dry forever. I love my new roof. The shingle look is stylish and gives my old house some charm. Do consider some barriers to break up the snow slides by your enrty ways. If it snows heavy enough you will get a moat where the sliding snow will pile up. Highly recommend this company and its workers. One of the best decisions I have made.

This was a great experience from start to finish. The sales rep went through everything thoroughly and helped us pick the right product and color. The crew was efficient and friendly, completing the job quickly and leaving no mess behind. The roof looks beautiful and alleviates the problems incurred by living in the woods with lots of critters. Refoofed after hail damage
AMR worked with us to schedule around time constraints we had. Work was done in a timely manner. Looks as great as when it was 1st installed. Christian and his crew were polite and professional. Also had our old balcony vinyl floor (from another company) replaced. Due to it's design was difficult to get leak proof coverage, but they got it done and it looks better than the original. Great company. Great product.
