Frank Farmer and American Metal Roofs (AMR) were recently featured on Michigan Edge: Business Edition, a Cable TV news magazine. With the objective of promoting Michigan businesses, each edition in the series features three different Michigan businesses.

In this business edition video, Frank Farmer first discusses AMR and the beauty and longevity of metal roofing. He then shares a history of some of the awards and accolades AMR has received over the years as the #1 US distributor of Classic metal roofing. He also mentions that the company is most proud of the 98% customer satisfaction rating they have earned, far exceeding the 70% industry average.

The interview goes much deeper into what makes AMR a truly special company.  Farmer shares a heartfelt look into the corporate culture of AMR as well as personal struggles he faced growing up in inner city Detroit. Never forgetting the hunger he faced as a child, Farmer expresses the importance of giving back to the community.  Through many community outreach projects, including food distributions with Companies Feeding Families, rebuilding a Flint city park, and providing roofing for Haitian orphans in need, Farmer and all of the AMR employees continue to give back to the community.
